Joshua Winslow "Josh" Groban is an American Grammy nominated singer/songwriter acknowledged for his mature and lyrical baritone voice. He is also a musician, actor, and record producer. He has a story as persuasive and genuine as you are likely to heed in the world of pop or classical music.
Josh Groban was born on February 27, 1981 in Los Angeles, California, to a Jewish American father and a Norwegian American mother. His parents are Episcipalian, his father having converted from Judaism and Groban was raised an Anglican-Episcopalian.
Groban originally emphasized to his studies and acting but as his voice changed, it developed into a "significant instrument". The incident that altered Groban's life was when his vocal coach, Seth Riggs, presented a tape of Josh singing, ‘All I Ask of You’, from The Phantom of the Opera, to Riggs' friend, famous producer, composer and arranger David Foster.
